Feeling Safe Community Forum

The Feeling Safe Community Forum, a sub group of Leith Neighbourhood Partnership is holding its next public meeting on Saturday 30 November 2013 in McDonald Road Library, doors open at 11am with formal business due to begin at 11:30.
Attendees at the meeting, which is open to anyone who lives, works or studies in Leith will get to choose six priorities for local Police & Council officers to address over the following three month period, with a view to making Leith a safer place.  The group will also receive feedback on the word undertaken to address the current priorities which were elected at our last public meeting held in September.  As well as an open session where attendees can raise any areas of concern or ask any questions, we will also be hearing from the Scottish Fire & Rescue Service on their work in relation to community initiatives.
It would be great to see each Community Council represented on the day.
I’ve attached a poster relating to the event, a list of the current safer neighbourhood priorities and a poster we are using to encourage people to suggest a safer neighbourhood priority.
Please feel free to share this email & invite with anyone who lives, works or studies in Leith as everyone is most welcome.
More information can be found on our website at http://www.edinburghnp.org.uk/leith, but please do not hesitate to give me a call or email if you wish to discuss.
Kind Regards
