New Bin Hubs

If any local residents in the Leith Links area have concerns about the new bin hubs being rolled out currently, please get in touch (contact@leithlinkscc.org.uk) as soon as possible.

At our recent meeting we were told by the Council official responsible that although rollout of the hubs had been delayed, they would be taking place over the next few weeks. You may see painting on the kerb showing locations, and chrome bars being installed (to corral the bins) and some old bins may disappear.

Unfortunately, there does not seem to have been communication with local residents, so some of you may be surprised or perturbed by the new set-up. Please let us know and we will pass on your concerns, and try to keep you ‘in the loop’ if we can get replies from the Council.
