Traffic Restrictions around Leith Links schools

Have your say on the proposed restriction of traffic around Leith Primary School, and St. Mary’s Primary School, on Leith Links. This aims to cut down vehicles on the small streets nearest to the schools for a set period around the start and end of the school day.

There is a very short survey here that is open until 31st July 2018, please do take the chance to look at the plans and contribute your views.

As regarding parking restriction around St Mary’s Primary School & Leith Primary School. If all the Caravans, Caravanettes, Horse Boxes Old Buses, Advertising Boards & other Trailers, parked all around Leith Links were removed, it would be a lot safer for everyone, if crossing the road you have to come half way out onto the road to see if there is any traffic coming making it very dangerous for all pedestrians trying to cross the roads. After all Leith Links is a park for all ages from young Footballers, the Franklin Cricket Club, Seafield Bowling Club, the Keep Fit Clubs, dog walkers people going back and forward to the allotments not to mention children going back and forward to the Swing Park, Leith Primary School & St Mary’s Primary School.
    IN OTHER WORDS IT IS:
NOT A DUMPING GROUND FOR. Caravans, Caravanettes, Horse Boxes Old Buses, Advertising Boards & other Trailers.
SO IF THERE IS TO BE ANY RESTRICTIONS PLEASE START WITH THE:
CARANANS,CARAVANETTES, HORSE BOXES, OLD BUSES, ADVERTISING BOARDS & OTHER TRAILERS.
